Last Call for Papers

The Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Energy (LFME), University of Patras, Greece, is organizing the 1st International Conference “From Scientific Computing to Computational Engineering” (IC-SCCE) to be held in Athens, Greece, from September 8 to September 10, 2004. The need for such an International Conference was identified during the “4th European Conference on Noise Control” and the “4th GRACM Congress on Computational Mechanics” which were held in Patras, Greece,  on 14-17 January, 2001, and 27-29 June, 2002, respectively, both organized by LFME. The 1st IC-SCCE Conference is organized under the aegis of the Greek Association of Computational Mechanics (GR.A.C.M.) and is supported by the Technical Chamber of Greece (T.E.E.).

The Chairman of the 1st International Conference “From Scientific Computing to Computational Engineering”, Professor Demos, T. Tsahalis, also Director of LFME, invites all scientists and engineers from the academic, scientific, engineering and industrial sectors to participate in the Conference and to contribute both in the promotion and the dissemination of the scientific knowledge.

 Contribution Invited

Contributions related to any aspects from Scientific Computing to Computational Engineering are enthusiastically encouraged. The contributions will be published in the Conference Proceedings which will have an ISBN number.

Abstracts of papers proposed for oral or poster presentation at the 1st IC-SCCE should be approximately 200 words in length and must be submitted together with the abstract cover sheet (please refer to Conference’s Website).
